Order and Shipping

What are the shipping fees and delivery timeline?
  • Shipping timelines indicated below, are approximate. This does not include weekends, holidays or any unforeseeable delays with the courier (weather, volume, traffic, etc).
  • Standard shipping for orders worth $250 and above is FREE and ships between 4-6 business days*.
  • Standard shipping for orders below $250 has a $4.95 shipping fee and ships between 4-6 business days*.
  • Your order may be split if the estimated dispatch dates are more than 7 days apart (Canada and US only).
  • The shipping fee is charged based on the subtotal before taxes and discounts, and is non-refundable.
How can I track my order?

You will receive an email with your order confirmation once you place the order. The email will include your order number, items purchased and estimated delivery date.

Order Status as below:

  • Processing- Your order has been handed over to our team to fulfill. If all items in your order are in-stock, typical processing time is 2-3 business days.
  • Shipped- Your order has been packed and is on the way to you. Kindly note that the tracking may take some time to be scanned into the courier's system to reflect any activity or movement.
Can I cancel or update my order? or change my shipping address?

Our team works hard to get your order dispatched as quickly as possible, and so we’re unable to guarantee any cancellation requests or changes to your order. Please reach out to contact@sonalore.com and we will do our best to support you.

My order is delayed, when will I receive it?

If your order is not processed by the estimated shipping date, our Customer Support  team will contact you with an update within 24 - 48 hours (keep an eye on your inbox!). Where do you ship to?

US & Canada. Kindly note that we do not ship to PO boxes, parcel lockers, APO, FPO addresses, or freight forwarding companies.

What shipping method is used for delivering my jewelry, and what are the safety measures?

All jewelry orders are dispatched with the highest level of care and security, using trusted courier services. To ensure the safe delivery of your precious items, each piece of jewelry is securely packaged and fully insured throughout its journey. Additionally, we require a signature upon delivery to guarantee that your exquisite selections from our collection reach you securely. This measure is in place to provide you with peace of mind, knowing that your investment is protected and personally handed over to you.

What is the return policy?

Please see the return guidelines listed below to see if purchased items are eligible for a return. We offer free 30-day returns for all customers across the US & Canada. Shipping fees are non-refundable. The return window starts from the day the shipment is delivered.

To qualify for a return:

  • Items must be in their original condition without signs of wear or damage.
  • Items returned by mail must be in all original packaging (tags, box, and pouch included).
  • No individual item of a set can be returned for refund, store credit and/or size exchange, and must be returned as a complete set.

How do I return my online purchase?

You can initiate a return/exchange request by writing to contact@sonalore.com by mentioning your order number, name of the product, and email address associated with the order. Our team will respond to you within 24-48 hours after they receive your return/exchange request.

How much is the return shipping fee?

Please note your original shipping fee is not refundable and will be deducted from the refundable amount.

 What is the exchange policy?

When will I receive my refund?

Warranty and Product Care

Do you have a warranty?

Under our warranty, we’ve got your back. This means that for 2 years from the date of purchase, we’ll take care of your product if any damage to the material or the workmanship of the jewelry occurs.

We work with top manufacturers to create handcrafted, responsibly sourced pieces that are made to last. We’re confident in the quality of our product hence the 2-year coverage. This also means that the warranty does not cover lost items, scratches that come with normal wear and tear (like a bent ring or broken chain), improper use or storage of your product, and any modification to your product done by a third party outside of Sonalore.

Important

1. Items purchased through a third-party vendor (outside of Sonalore.com) are not covered under Sonalore’s warranty. Please reach out to the company the items were purchased from.

2. We do not recommend having our products worked on by outside jewelers as this voids any potential for refund or replacement (should a defect develop due to their work). This includes resizing or any type of repair work.

3. Please note that in order for us to continue improving, we may require any defective piece to be sent back to us for inspection and quality auditing.

4. Promotional products may be excluded from our warranty policy.

How do I access my warranty?

Please send us an email to contact@sonalore.com.com with the following details.

  • Order number
  • Name of the product
  • Brief description of the damage and location of it
  • Clear photos of the product (1 photo of the entire item and 1 close-up of the defect area)
How do I take care of my jewelry?

Our pieces are handcrafted from solid 18k gold and adorned with lab grown as well as natural diamonds for different collections. Gold jewelry never tarnishes but like everything else your Sonalore jewelry needs a little TLC once in a while! Just wipe your Sonalore jewelry with a microfiber cloth. To keep your jewelry's sparkle lasting over time, minimizing exposure to certain elements like perfumes and harsh chemicals is key. Gold and diamonds, known for their durability, are ideal for daily wear.

Does Sonalore jewelry wear off after showering or swimming?

Never! We only use solid 18k gold (not vermeil or plated gold) in our jewelry to ensure it stays intact for everyday wear. You won’t have to take them off while showering, swimming, sleeping or working out. You can wear our jewelry 24X7 without the jewelry losing its shine or tarnishing in any way.

Where is Sonalore jewelry made?

Our artisanal jewelry is handcrafted in Italy and India; we have partners around the globe that we source some of our materials, components, and products from. All partners, both domestic and international, are paid fair wages and the products are ethically sourced and made. Each and every piece that leaves our studio is thoroughly quality checked by our team and hand packaged with love.

What quality of gold do you use in your jewelry?

We use solid 18k gold in all our jewelry, (not vermeil or plated gold).

What is the quality of your diamonds?

We use the highest quality of diamonds in all our jewelry- GHI (color) SI-I (clarity), excellent cut.

What are lab grown diamonds and are they genuine and real?

The simple answer is YES! The only thing that makes lab-grown diamonds different from natural diamonds is their origin. Lab-grown diamonds are 'grown' inside a lab using technology to replicate the natural diamond growing process. The result is a man-made diamond that is chemically, physically, and optically the same as those grown below the earth’s surface.

They have all the same physical and chemical properties of a naturally mined diamond, in fact even experts would need very special equipment only available in gemological laboratories to tell the difference between a mined or a lab-grown diamond.

Does Sonalore use natural as well as lab grown diamonds in their jewelry?

Yes! We have both varieties of diamonds- natural as well as lab grown, depending upon the collection of jewelry you’re seeking.

How do I determine ring size?

We do have a few handy tricks that may help you determine either your ring size or the ring size of a loved one! If you already have a ring with the perfect fit, whether it was gifted or an heirloom piece, grab a ruler and measure the internal diameter. Then cross reference with our Sizing Guide.

Can I order a custom piece?

We will try our best to give you exactly what your heart desires. Check out Bespoke Design page and send us a reference image of your selected jewelry along with other details mentioned on the page. We will get back to you with a detailed response on the next steps.

Custom Sizing

The sizes shown on each product page are the only ones we're able to offer at this time. However reach out to us at contact@sonalore.com for the size you're looking for in which product and we'll try our best to make it happen.

Custom Engraving

We do not provide engraving services at this time. 

Do prices ever change?

Everchanging factors such as global supply chain disruption, inflation, and cost fluctuation of raw materials such as gold and diamonds may impact our prices from time to time. We continue to monitor production factors and do our absolute best to always give you high-quality products at accessible prices.

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

You can pay for your order using a variety of payment methods! Your payment method is charged at the time the order is placed, including for those items that are shipping later and/or made-to-order. This will ensure that your order is placed in the queue to be fulfilled and shipped as soon as possible.

Please note that once the order has been placed, we are unable to change the method of payment and/or currency.

1. Credit and Debit Visa Card

We currently accept the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, and American Express If you have a Sonalore account, your default billing information will appear at checkout. Otherwise, you can manually enter the payment details at the time you place the order. Kindly note that depending on the restrictions on your card, the transaction may be declined by the bank. Sonalore reserves the right to detect and check the validity of the card used and may decline transactions depending on the result of these checks.

2. Paypal

Simply click the PayPal option during checkout where you will be asked to log into your PayPal account. Once the order is completed, you will be redirected to the Sonalore site.

3. Klarna

  • US: We offer the option to pay in 4 interest-free instalments or to pay the full amount within 30 days of purchase between $35 - $4000.
  • Canada: We offer the option to pay in 4 interest-free instalments for orders between $35 - $4000

For installment payments, your 1st payment is taken out the moment your order is placed. Kindly note that if your automatic payment fails and you do not provide updated card details, Klarna may charge you a late fee per installment. Klarna will send you email reminders before an installment is removed from your account. You’ll also be notified via email if your payment was unsuccessful.

How are refunds processed?

For questions on returns and exchanges, please check here.

Please note Sonalore cannot issue a refund to a method of payment that is different from the one used to place the order. Upon receiving your returned item at our warehouse, it will take up to 10-15 business days for the returns team to process and send you a return confirmation email.

1. Credit Card

From the day the return is processed by the returns team, depending on your bank, it will take around 5-10 business days for the fund to reappear on your end. Should you have canceled your credit card or reissued a new one, the amount will be transferred by the bank.

2. Debit Visa Card

  • Online purchases made with Debit Visa Card will be processed as a credit card, and will take around 5-10 business days for the refund amount to appear on your end.
  • In-store purchase returns originally paid with Debit Visa Card must be processed in-store with the card present. The refund will be processed the same day.

3. Paypal

Once a refund has been made back to your PayPal account, you will receive a notification from PayPal. It may take around 5-10 business days for you to see the fund on your bank account!

4. Klarna

For refunds processed for Klarna purchase, it can take about 14 business days for the funds to appear on your end. Klarna will update the total balance and any remaining payments are automatically adjusted. Any payments already made will be refunded back to the original payment method.

Will I be charged duties, taxes and any other fees?

Duties and Taxes

United States and Canada Duties are included. Taxes are applied at check-out according to the state/province of the shipping address.

Foreign Transaction Fees

Sonalore does not charge any additional fees other than the total amount owed for the order. Other fees would have been applied by your bank and are not under the control of Sonalore. As we're based out of the US, banks in other countries/Canada may consider us a 'foreign company' and charge additional international fees on their own. We are not able to provide a refund for any foreign transaction fees.

Should you have confirmed that the charge was made on Sonalore’s end, please reach out to our customer support team at contact@sonalore.com with the details on the charges.

How do discount codes work?

Simply enter the discount code by using the 'Add coupon code' field found in cart! A limit of one (1) discount may be applied to each order. If a second discount code is applied, our system will automatically select the better deal and the other discount will not be applied. Discount codes cannot be used in conjunction with free shipping discount codes, referral credit, referral codes or any other type of discount. Sonalore has the right to hold and or cancel orders that use more than one discount code. Kindly note that Sonalore gift cards are excluded from all discounts.

What is Sonalore’s lifetime buyback policy?

Sell us back our jewelry anytime, and get the market value of materials minus a 15% fee. Choose store credit or cash, to easily switch your style and upgrade to a brand new piece. We give you an estimate at which we can buy your jewelry back after a fair authentication process is carried out. This is a novel service provided by Sonalore because we treat your jewelry as an investment and not as an expense.

How does the lifetime buyback process work? 

You can start the process by accessing 'My Portfolio' on your Sonalore Account Page. Here you can track your jewelry purchases based on daily gold and gemstone prices. Monitor how your investments have performed, and seize opportunities to sell when the moment is right. To initiate the sell-back process, simply click the 'Sell' button to trade in your purchase. It will provide you with a current estimate of your jewelry and if you are satisfied with the estimate, you can then mail us the product which will undergo a fair authentication process. We will contact you for shipping labels and how to send us back the product. Once the fair authentication process is carried out we will contact you and you can select store credit or cash as your preferred choice of payment.

How can I send back the jewelry to Sonalore to avail lifetime buyback policy?

Once you have initiated the buyback process through your account portfolio, we will send you a return shipping label to send us back the product. Once the product reaches us, a fair authentication process will be carried out to finalise the buyback.

Will the product be insured when I send it back?

Yes, all our return labels come with product insurance.

What jewelry pieces do you provide the lifetime buyback service for? 

At Sonalore we treat all our jewelry pieces with the same love, therefore all our pieces qualify for the lifetime buyback policy.

Do jewelry pieces with lab grown diamonds qualify for lifetime buyback?

Yes they do!

What value do you use for lifetime buyback policy?

We at Sonalore believe in transparent pricing at all levels during the buy and sell process. We use the current value of gold and gemstones for our lifetime buyback policy which you can track daily on the accounts page under- 'My Portfolio'.

How long will it take to receive money after I have mailed my piece?

We will need 5-7 business days for our fair authentication process to be completed after the jewelry reaches us and we will notify you via email after that.

At Sonalore, we work directly with manufacturers cutting out the middle-man cost and therefore have an insight into the cost of raw materials and artisanal effort put into each piece which helps us be transparent with our valued customers.
